Orokonui Ecosanctuary

Kiwi release at Orokonui from Splashroom Media on Vimeo.

The Kiwi has been returned to Otago!

The Orokonui Ecosanctuary is the only place on the South Island where native birds, animals and insects can live free of predators. What an amazing environmental and educational venture. Entry is free and tours are available. If you're local, consider this- the Ecosanctuary relies on volunteers!

Orokonui is truly something special and specific to this little corner of the globe!

  2. Sigh. I watched that video twice and am sending it to my bird loving family. They are so precious. What a beautiful video. You are lucky to be living in a country so lovely.
